Update: The Gold Coast Show Society are happy to announce a two day off-site equestrian event, to be held at Rivermead Equestrian and Events Centre, Guanaba on September 10 & 11. Originally the Show Society had wanted to hold the equestrian event on July 30 and 31 but it meant there would be no Showjumping due to the World Cup Championships being held at the same time. These dates also clashed with Pine Rivers Show.
After much discussion, it was decided that the Show Society really could not hold the equestrian event without the showjumping – having not held the event for the past 2 years due to relocation. After checking the dates available to ensure the event didn’t clash with other shows, the Show Society was advised that Beenleigh Show was taking this year off for construction of their new building. This opened an opportunity for the event to take place on the new dates and allowed for the showjumping to be part of the equestrian programme.
The new schedule should be online shortly which will include show jumping classes. We will update the program here as soon as it’s available.
NOTE: The hack programme will remain the same. A 2 day showjumping schedule is to be added
Equestrian events are back at the Gold Coast Show for 2016, held separately to the main show on 10 & 11 September 2016 at the prestigious “Rivermead House” grounds at Guanaba. See map below for directions.
